As we close out February, farmers are preparing for the growing season ahead and we’re getting ready for CT NOFA’s 32nd annual Winter Conference.
Hear about a unique educational option: Sustainable Farm School is an independent day school for children ages 3 to 18 that combines sustainable living teachings with core academics. Students participate in daily farm and garden chores. Core academic classes include language arts, history, mathematics, science and philosophy. Additional courses include whole food preparation, social justice, home economics, music and art.
